Frequently asked questions

Is this free?

Yes, completely free with no sign-up required.

Do my files get uploaded to a server?

No — conversion runs entirely in your browser using PDF.js. Nothing is sent to any server.

Which resolution should I choose?

150 DPI is a good default for on-screen use. Use 300 DPI for print-quality output. Higher resolutions produce larger files and take longer to process.

What is the difference between PNG and JPG output?

PNG is lossless — ideal for documents with text or sharp lines. JPG produces smaller files with minor compression artefacts, better suited for photo-heavy pages.

Is there a page limit?

No hard limit. Very large PDFs may take longer to render depending on your device and the chosen resolution.
